The Reversible Spike crochet stitch is interesting in that it looks like regular single-crochet but there are all of these spikes – similar to what you would see on a cat scan machine – that are crocheted in at the same time. Yarnspirations shows us how to make the reservsible spiked crochet stitch and turn it into a pillow. Because it is a reversible pattern – the back and the front look the same – this would also make for a very nice scarf, afghan, or blanket.
